According to an interview with Bloomberg last week: "Barack Obama will classify carbon dioxide as a dangerous pollutant that can be regulated, opening the way for new rules on greenhouse gas emissions. Obama will tell the Environmental Protection Agency that it may use the 1990 Clean Air Act to set emissions limits on power plants and manufacturers, That move would impose new regulation and taxes across the entire economy, something that is usually the purview of Congress. Further… "in the absence of Congressional action" 18 months after Mr. Obama's inauguration, the EPA would move ahead with its own unilateral carbon crackdown anyway.

In July the EPA published a report that makes clear they have the right to by interpretation of the 1990 Clean Air Act the authority and power to regulate YOUR life, down to how you cut your grass.

The EPA, with the cooperation from an Executive Branch of our government led by Senator Obama, will monitor and regulate the carbon emissions of "lawn and garden equipment" as well as everything with an engine, your car, dirt bike, planes, boats, busses, trucks, trains, the list is endless. But even more crucial is that under their interpretation of the 1990 Clean Air Act, Coal-fired power and other fossil fuel related industries will be regulated out of existence. Presently, burning coal to produce electricity provides half the U.S. power supply. HALF! The EPA will change that, the price will be enormous and the American Consumers will foot the bill!

Americans will pay more for the goods and services we need. Any way you look at that, this is a federally mandated regressive TAX on American Consumers and will hit the poorest of the poor the most by raising prices across the board on food and necessities by 50-70%. That is a TAX. And it is not just a TAX, it is a TAX that never passed Congress. When imposed through EPA regulations it is TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. Our country was born as a result of unreasonable English taxation without representation.

Along with the increased costs to your life and family consider the lost jobs in Coal mining, oil refining, power generation, manufacturing slow downs and plant closures.

All this will happen if the EPA's patently false interpretation of the 1990 Clean Air Act is allowed to move forward as inferred by Senator Obama's advisors. The Office of the President, through lack of restraint on the EPA, will drive both BIG and SMALL businesses into bankruptcy.

Obama policy advisors have let it be known that as President he will bludgeon Congress with the EPA and improper enforcement and interpretation of the 1990 Clean Air Act to guarantee Congress follows OBAMA GREEN!

CONGRESS will have no choice but to act to protect Americans from an Agency run amuck. EPA under an Obama Administration will classify carbon as a covered emission and with such a finding the new President WILL push Congress into an untenable position: "Impose new taxes and limits on carbon that will not invoke MY Veto Pen or the EPA carbon police will do it for me"

Mr. Obama, using the 1990 Clean Air Act to empower the EPA to cut MY carbon footprint, creating increased burdens on my family's already stretched and dwindling income is tantamount to taking a sledgehammer to a watermelon. Nothing will be left to fund Obama's plans to spread the wealth around and his "welfare" check will not help pay the electric bill.

And lest we forget, the wealthy are the only one's who can afford going OBAMA GREEN. Al Gore happily pays to create as much carbon as his little heart desires; he buys his carbon "offsets" and feels good about himself. His money allows him the luxury of never having to change his lifestyle to live the carbon neutral life he actually demands of the rest of us. And be assured, money is no issue to the wealthy eco-liberal-extremists extolling the need and virtues of a carbon neutral world. It is easy to espouse a plan that will in no real way affect your life or your wallet.

Robbery is still robbery, whether you cloak it in high-minded ideals and rhetoric or just admit to stealing, it is the same. So when you hear the Phrase "This is the "Change America Needs," remember it may not be change you will actually be given a choice about and it will certainly involve the government taking more of YOUR hard earned money to fund that CHANGE.

Obama's approach to going OBAMA GREEN will "be like taking a hatchet" to the American Constitution. This plan is wrong, simply and completely wrong. Under an Obama presidency, OBAMA GREEN will move ahead despite that no true consensus has been reached on Global Warming, or on what really causes "Climate Change" – a capricious Mother Nature or you and I.

Senator Obama's advisors have told us how he will move it forward, either through Congress or through the EPA, but one way or another your life will CHANGE and it is most certainly NOT a change for the better.
